Successful Week for Aireon at Singapore Airshow

By Emily Feliz, Director, Marketing and Public Relations

For one week in February, Singapore was the center of the international aerospace and defense aviation industry and Aireon had a front-row seat for the action.

The event marked a few firsts for Aireon – the first time Aireon exhibited at the Singapore Airshow and the first time all 3 Aireon customer verticals were represented in one booth.

Aireon showcased its world-class aviation data products, including its safety-certified Global Air Traffic Surveillance products, AireonVECTOR GPS interference monitoring product suite and AireonINSIGHTS Flight Events product. Team Aireon hosted dozens of meetings throughout the week, interacting with current customers and partners, as well as previewing our products for new partners as well.

The show provided an excellent opportunity for Aireon to show the broader aviation community the applications of its space-based automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) data across different industry verticals and customer bases. From airlines and airports to safety organizations and air navigation service providers to intelligence agencies and defense partners and beyond, Aireon has data products to support our customers’ operational and safety goals.

The biennial Singapore Airshow saw 60,000+ trade attendees from more than 130 countries/regions. More than 1,000 companies participated in the event.

The Singapore Airshow was the kick-off for Aireon for a very busy year in trade show exhibitions. Next up for Aireon is the Airspace World event in May in Lisbon, followed by other events in the Commercial and Defense verticals throughout the year.
