Aireon Gears Up for a Busy Tradeshow Season

Aireon is wrapping up a very busy September – a month full of trade shows, conferences, customer engagements, and industry outreach. From London to Las Vegas, Almaty to Washington, D.C., and Miami and Montreal, the Aireon team covered the globe to discuss our data products and the value these bring to our customers.

The engagements spanned across our vertical market segments – including Military and Defense and Commercial, as well as our Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSPs) customers. While the operational and mission profile of each of these customers may be different, the one thing that is constant is Aireon’s commitment to deliver the best data possible to enhance customers’ operations, situational awareness, and most importantly, safety.

Several themes emerged from these conversations. Aviation industry stakeholders around the world are concerned about the growing threat of GNSS/GPS interference and the impact of safety for operators (airlines, military operations) and ANSPs.

Among the shows and events in September:

  • Aireon exhibited at the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) symposium in London, showcasing the power of our data to deliver powerful insights to the defense market.
  • Aireon attended the 3rd CANSO EuroAsia CEO event, hosted by our customer Kazaeronavigatsia in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
  • Team Aireon had a booth at the Airline & Aerospace MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference in Miami, engaging with airlines and maintenance organizations on the applications of our data.
  • Aireon executives from HQ attended the NATCA Communicating for Safety conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an important event where government officials, industry leaders, air traffic controllers, airlines, and other attendants focus on promoting and engaging with topics surrounding aviation safety, safety challenges and improvements, and more.
  • ICAO General Assembly Meeting in Montreal hosted aviation industry stakeholders, including Aireon. This is an annual event where all the nations of the world come together to discuss aviation issues and any updates to global aviation regulations and standards. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the team to engage with many of our customers in one place.
  • Members of the Aireon Product and Defense teams attended the AFA’s Air, Space, and Cyber Conference in Washington, D.C. The event provided many opportunities for the team to speak with 300+ exhibitors and thousands of attendees.

And September wasn’t just about customers – the Aireon Talent Acquisition team attended several college career fairs, looking for the talent to join Team Aireon! Want to know more? Visit the Aireon Careers page to get in touch.

What’s next:
