It’s 9:30 a.m. on a Thursday morning in the office and instead of the usual sounds of brewing coffee, keyboards clicking and meetings underway, the air is filled with toddlers asking for snacks, kids drawing on whiteboards and the sound of Hot Wheels being driven across conference tables. Welcome to Aireon’s third annual Bring Your Child to Work Day!
Bring Your Child to Work Day is a nationally recognized day where parents bring their children to their workplace to get a glimpse of their work day and environment! It’s a great opportunity for the kids to see firsthand what their parents do and learn about the company, it exposes them to multiple careers paths and allows them to experience a real-life work environment.

The agenda was packed full of learning and fun! The group toured the offices and our Network Operations Center, shadowed their parents, and got to hear from folks around the office about their day-to-day work. We topped it all off with a game of bingo and a hands-on STEM activity. The group was engaged and asked great questions, and their energy and enthusiasm brightened up the workplace.
At Aireon, we look forward to this event every year. It not only opens our doors to the next generation, but we hope it sparks curiosity in their minds about aviation. You never know, there could be a future pilot in our midst!
We’re proud to play a small role in shaping young minds while building stronger, more connected teams. Aireon takes a proud stance on work-life balance, and family-inclusive events like these reflect our commitment to promoting healthier workplace culture.
