Gerald Caffrey was appointed Chief Executive of AirNav Ireland in June 2025, having previously held the role of Director of Technical Services.

Prior to being promoted to this role, Gerald held a number of positions within AirNav Ireland as General Manager Technical Services, Acting Head of Corporate Affairs, Manager Operational Support, Engineering Manager and Engineer, therefore his career has afforded him a broad knowledge of AirNav Operations.

Gerald holds a Masters in Business Administration, a Masters in Electronic Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Dublin City University, a Diploma in Life and Business Coaching from the Irish Lifecoach Institute and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
