Denise Olmsted
General Counsel
Denise Olmstead is Aireon’s General Counsel, responsible for leading corporate governance, regulatory/compliance matters and international contracts.
Prior to joining Aireon, Olmsted was Vice President of Commercial Legal Affairs at Intelsat Corporation. She managed all legal and contractual matters associated with worldwide sales and also oversaw all regulatory, trade compliance, market access, intellectual property and antitrust matters. While at Intelsat, Olmsted also held the position as Associate General Counsel.
Preceding her tenure at Intelsat, Olmsted worked at G2 Satellite Solutions as their Assistant General Counsel and New Skies Networks as their Senior Legal Counsel.
Olmsted received her Bachelor of Arts in English from George Mason University and then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Catholic University of America. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
