Mark Cooper is responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight of NAV CANADA operational technology, information management and cybersecurity.
Mr. Cooper is responsible for providing leadership to a diverse group of employees who provide mission-critical services, and developing and maintaining technologies that support the safe and efficient movement of air traffic.
Prior to joining NAV CANADA, Mr. Cooper was lead Partner for Aviation Technology with Deloitte, after an 18-year career with Lockheed Martin. At Lockheed Martin, Mr. Cooper was the Managing Director for the Global Aviation organisation responsible for services and solutions deployed to over 100 clients worldwide across the Air Traffic Management, Airport, and Airline domains.
Mr. Cooper holds an Honours degree in Physics and Computing from Coventry University and served on the Executive Committee of CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) from 2017 to 2019.
