Airbus began their partnership with Aireon in 2018, incorporating space-based automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) data into its internal digital platforms.

Aireon’s ADS-B global data feed provides Airbus with real-time aircraft position information from around the world through AireonSTREAM. Combined with a wide range of additional data sources, it serves as the ‘source’ of truth for global aircraft movements within the Airbus ecosystem.
