Webinar: Flexible ATS Surveillance Offerings supporting ANSPs in an Uncertain World

Webinar Abstract

As aviation navigates through one of the toughest periods in its history, investments into major infrastructure projects have become challenging. There is a need to consider approaches that can ensure that Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and airlines receive value from data-driven models based on real-time, accurate air traffic numbers, whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety. Aireon’s space-based ADS-B service is a flexible and forward-thinking investment for aviation stakeholders to leverage an operational service-driven model that is aligned to the current environment.

In this webinar, Aireon experts will provide an update on the status of the Aireon system, along with an overview of different approaches and options that can be provided to customers to adapt to the current environment, while ensuring safety as the main priority. Additionally, one of Aireon’s current customers, Papua New Guinea Air Services Limited (PNGASL), will provide an overview on their business and safety case, along with benefits they anticipate seeing in their airspace as a result of space-based ADS-B.

With the provision of global Air Traffic Services (ATS) surveillance from Aireon’s space-based ADS-B service, data can be adapted and provided to ANSPs as the industry evolves over time. Topics discussed in this webinar will focus on the customization of the data and how to achieve regulatory approval with ease. This includes a wide range of data offerings, delivery methods, and commercial constructs to align with the unique needs of the customer.

We hope that you can join the webinar to learn about how space-based ADS-B is currently being implemented into everyday operations and is actively providing an unprecedented level of visibility and support to ANSPs, while revolutionizing air traffic control for the future, even within our current economic climate.
