Through Distribution Partnerships, Aireon sells data in raw form to the end customer. In this scenario, the end-user typically has a means to process and extract the dataset through their own tools.
Aireon and FlightAware have partnered together to merge FlightAware’s data processing platform and web interface with Aireon’s space-based ADS-B network to transcend borders and Flight Information Regions (FIRs) and eliminate coverage gaps in polar airspace, deserts and oceanic regions. With a subscription to Aireon’s data through FlightAware, customers will have global coverage with near-real time positions seamlessly fused into the products, including mobile apps and alerts.
Through a unique data partnership with Aireon, AirSense, an Airbus Company, offers a global and highly precise view of air traffic in real-time. AirSense has a Distribution Partnership for Aireon’s space-based ADS-B data to reach aircraft operators and aviation service providers. This includes data streaming and APIs, in additional to a Channel Partnership that offers specific products that integrate space-based ADS-B.
